World of Warcraft Patch 3.08 Released
While the eyes of the country may be elsewhere, Blizzard is doing a little bit of inaugurating of its own today, releasing the latest patch for World of Warcraft. This is the first major patch to be released by the MMO giant since the launch of WoW’s second expansion, Wrath of the Lich King. In addition to the usual class balancing changes and bug fixes, some notable additions are the ability to create a Death Knight on any realm as long as you have at least one level 55 character, and the removal of race requirements on mounts. For the entire patch notes, head over to WoW’s official site here.
UPDATE: Well, if you’re chomping at the bit to try out the new patch like I am, you’ll have to wait a little longer. Maintenance has been extended for approximately two more hours and all realms are expected to be online by 1:00 pm PST. So NOW what am I supposed to do?

I am pretty anxious how this would turn out. I wouldn’t be surprised to see an over populated WoW full of Death Knights. They’d be implementing a new mailbox at Crows Tavern, hopefully the mailbox system doesn’t screw up this time. My stuffs and wow gold took forever to show up last time.
