The Beatles’ Abbey Road has been announced as the first album DLC for The Beatles Rock Band. On October 20 (Xbox 360) and October 22 (PlayStation 3), the album will be available for DLC purchase.
Other albums announced included Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and Rubber Soul which should hit DLC portals in December.

Fans of The Beatles Rock Band will want to hear about this contest. Starting now through November 16, 2009, fans can submit an entry of a created love song using The Beatles song titles to create a new love song.
The new song is created by using at least 10 song titles to pen a new song of 100 words or less.
By submitting an entry into this contest, participants can win one of many daily drawings for The Beatles Love album.
The winner of the song writing contest will receive:
Two Tickets to Love by Cirque du Soleil
A Behind the Scenes Tour of Love
Roundtrip airfare to Las Vegas for two from anywhere in the United States
Accommodations for two at The Mirage Hotel and Casino.

Wednesday at the Electronic Entertainment Expo was filled with appointments with various developers and publishers. I was able to see some titles behind closed doors, though a lot of them were demo only, meaning I wasn’t able to get a hands on feel for some of the titles.
It is looking like the rest of the year and early next year’s titles are looking solid, though finding out the amount of time between a lot of these titles (meaning now until release) is going to be a difficult one.
