Man, it’s been a really long time since I’ve played a Tekken game. Not since the days of Tekken 2 did all my buddies and me sit around that 19-inch dorm television in college as we beat the crap out of each other for hours upon hours. Released on October 27th, Namco Bandai’s Tekken 6 had me pretty excited as I hoped it would bring me back to the good ole days. Well I’d like to thank Namco Bandai for providing with a copy of the game to review for you, so let’s jump right in and see if Tekken 6 has all of that great nostalgic arcade beat-em-up juiciness we’ve come to expect!
Tekken 6 has a lot to live up to since it’s been a while since a proper console release and with this latest installment the first direct PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 developed version, there is a lot of anticipation.
With Tekken 6 releasing later this month, some viral videos have been popping up on the internet and GotGame has the latest in the series to show you.
With only a little less than a month away until Tekken 6 releases for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, there hasn’t been much in terms of advertisements coming out. Even at the Tokyo Game Show, there weren’t any videos that showed anything new for the title.
Most of the information about the title has been released and now it’s just a countdown until the title releases.
Well, now there’s something to watch about the upcoming King of Iron Fist Tournament.
I like fighting games. If I designed my own game, it would borrow from all my experiences within the genre. I would call it Reign: Generations, a weapon and hand-to-hand based fighter with realistic combat engines. Most likely never to be made, based on my outrageous requirements.
