Breaking from the seriousness of the past few installments, this we we cover some of the more light-hearted stories to break the surface. First, Pikachu wants to be your workout buddy. A real-life giant robot has invaded Japan. And a Hollywood hottie loves to tear out people’s spines!
Remakes are cheap, easy, nostalgic and give younger gamers a chance to play a classic they missed due to being in the womb. After major gaming conglomerates (mostly Capcom) realized how much money they could make more and more have been popping up these days.
Within the next year gamers will see a good number of remakes; check out a handful that we can’t wait to get our grubby little paws on.

Apparently, there are people out there willing to judge my net worth as a person based upon which five CDs I would bring with me if I got stranded on a desert island. Or which five pop-stars I’d bring along for company. Or pretty much any arbitrary list of five items I’d want in tow if I found myself marooned at one of the far corners of the world…
Because I’d rather be judged on the merits of my favorite hobby than on those of my music collection (Weird Al is still culturally relevant, right?), here’s a list of the five video game characters I’d want around should our helicopter do a nosedive into some uncharted island.

Have you ever found it funny that Bruce Campbell’s character in the Evil Dead series and one of the main Pokémon characters have the same name? I sure have, and apparently, I’m not alone. The mastermind of this video created a trailer for a Pokémon: Evil Dead movie, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for some big movie exec to run across this and realize what a goldmine it would be. Seriously, if they ever made this film, I’d be camping out to see it opening day. At the very least, a game needs to be made for this!
