With Halloween right around the corner, it’s only fitting that Dementium II release more information before the February 2010 release date.
In this sequel, which picks up at the end of the original, waking up in a prison after brain surgery isn’t the best way to begin trying to piece together what has happened.
To help, postcards sent to yourself will help guide the journey either to the light or the darkness.

Mount and Blade is all about horseback combat, swordplay, and huge battles that remind players of what it might be like to live in the medieval age. There is something great about fighting against another horseman and being able to knock them off their horse with a precise swing of a broadsword into their chest.
With the new expansion, Warband, players will now be able to battle in 64 player mulitplayer on a single map, essentially allowing two armies to face each other in a last man standing skirmish that could last longer than most people will think.

Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim is scheduled to be released on September 18 this year. The greatest thing about the gameplay is that even though it plays like a real time strategy title, players do not have direct control of any of the characters.
Rather, the player must recruit Heroes to work for you but they can leave challenges uncompleted. At Gamescom, Paradox Interactive released a new trailer for Majesty 2 and here are some screens for viewing pleasure.

RPGs are all about numbers and equations, so it’s no surprise most follow a formula: undertake a quest, find something, kill it, reap the cash money benefits (courtesy of some invisible, omniscient benefactor).
Majesty 2 takes those old school mechanics and rolls them like an 8-sided die. In the new Sim/RTS game from Paradox Interactive, you’re the mysterious guy in the sky posting “Help Wanted” signs and financially rewarding the murderous tendencies of your average adventurer.

Earlier today, I went to a meeting with Paradox Interactive, where I was given quick 15 minute explanations and demonstrations of a few of their newer titles that are going to be released in 2009. Granted 15 minutes isn’t really enough time to see all a game has to offer, but each developer was concise enough to give a taste of what the final product will be.
