Well, here we are again with the next episode of Tales of Monkey Island. Released this past Friday, The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood continues right where episode 3 left off.
Recall that Guybrush had just escaped from the stomach of a giant manatee and got a hold of La Esponja Grande when out of the blue; Morgan La’Flay betrayed and captured him to return him to the Marquis DeSinge. If you haven’t yet seen my reviews of episodes 1 through 3, you’ll want to check those out first, otherwise, here’s a quick run-through of what you’re going to experience in The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood.
The Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes demo has been out for a bit on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, so most gamers will have a feel for this new Star Wars title. The thing that they may not know is that gamers will have the ability to droid jak, meaning controlling droids in the game.
With the release of the game, LucasArts has released a video tutorial on how to exactly pull off this technique.
I think there’s a new announcement of release of a Lego-fied title every few months. Though the great thing is that Traveller’s Tales is able to keep creating different Lego worlds by using different licenses, though sometimes it feels a little like the Rock Band and Guitar Hero constant expansion model.
Lego Indiana Jones 2 once again goes through the early trilogy, but now adds the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull into the game. For players who have completed the first Lego Indiana Jones will experience new added levels that expand on the movies.
Tales of Monkey Island: Lair of the Leviathan releases today for the PC and shortly after for the Nintendo Wii. This is the third episode in the series and if you haven’t seen my reviews for the previous two, you’ll want to check those out now. As to be expected, I greatly enjoyed Lair of the Leviathan, just as I enjoyed the previous two. So here is a quick update and review of what you should expect when you download your copy for this month.
