Rumors persist about the Dell Adamo, Dell’s answer to Apple’s MacBook Air laptop. The MacBook Air is an ultra thin, ultra light laptop introduced in early 2008. The Adamo name is not confirmed, but The New York Times confirms that Dell is developing a laptop to compete with the MacBook Air. betanews.com also uncovered a listing for Adamo accessories and putting two-and-two together, indicate that the planned laptop is the Adamo.

A showdown is brewing between NVIDIA, one of the largest makers of gaming graphic chips, and Intel, the largest producer of PC processors, over Intel’s decision to not yet release the specifications of the USB 3.0 technology that it is currently developing. Intel has cited that they have put “gazillions of dollars and bazillions of engineering man-hours” into the project and do not want to prematurely release information that might prove incompatible with hardware down the line.
Here’s the rub: USB 3.0 technology is a high-speed, data connection that will soon come standard in all PCs. Nintendo Wii

The Nintendo Wii is a next-generation console with game graphics worse than most PS2 titles. It’s also the best-selling ‘next-gen’ console, yet it seems incapable of producing titles for mature audiences.
