5 Worst Types of Gamers


While “Top 5” lists are always good for an informative opinion about something or other, today is a day that we look at a “Bottom Five” list, compiling the five worst types of gamers. Assembled here are the crème de le crème of suckitude: five subspecies you should immediately run in fear of and, most importantly, why. Although those featured in today’s “Bottom Five” realistically have little chance of changing who they are, that doesn’t mean I can’t make fun of them. Because making fun of other people is one of the few pleasures left in my own sad, pathetic life. So prepare that flame shield and don’t feed that troll, because tonight, I dine, IN HELL. Gamer hell, that is.

NVISION 08: Girl Gamers Changing the World- PMS Style!


Girl gamers are taking names!  We are stronger than ever before!  This is all thanks to great people like Amber and Amy Dalton of the PMS Clan: Pandora’s Mighty Soldiers.

At NVISION, we had the fortunate opportunity to interview Amber Dalton, co-founder of PMS.  A few years ago, she and her sister, Amy, discovered their love for the original Halo.  This love started a community, and that community has grown into a massive collaboration of 640 girls gaming and fragging worldwide.  They play all platforms competitively.  PMS promotes positive, competitive attitudes not just for girls, but all gamers.  Their proud supporters, and brother clan, is H20, the all-male counterpart.

“You were beat by a girl!” It’s a schoolyard line we’ve all heard, primarily uttered to ridicule both the guys who lost and the girls who won. With the growing popularity of gaming amongst women, that playground taunt has taken on a new meaning, adopted by the self-professed gamer girls and spoken with pride. Don’t expect these video game vixens to go easy on you just because you have mesmerizing man-junk; they play to win. And sure, guy gamers are overly eager to hurl vicious, misogynistic insults thanks to the anonymity of the internet, but that doesn’t change the fact that girl gamers are here to stay (and pwn).
