As one of the more long-standing series of the mecha genre, the Armored Core games have appeared on many platforms since the original PlayStation. Long considered one of the most customizable mech games, Armored Core has again arrived on the PlayStation Portable.
Now, From Software has somehow crammed their own PS2 game into a handheld-size version. They’ve added new features and new arenas, but the question is, how does the port hold up?
When the PlayStation 3 gets a Japanese role playing title that garnered great reviews in the country of origin, people take notice. When the game formerly announced as Japan-only receives domestic publishing in the United States, gamers need to get excited. Finally, when the game is a PlayStation 3 exclusive, PlayStation fans need to get on their knees and thank Atlus for deciding to bring From Software’s game here.
The new trailer released is entitled “Visceral Action” and it does meet that description. Releasing on October 6, PS3 owners are going to experience a game that kicks you in the balls and then spits in your face because it is no joke difficult. Trial and error are going to be your best friends.
