At 11 AM, I ventured to the Shrine Auditorium to attend Sony’s E3 Press Conference.
While a lot of the games shown were already known, or secrets leaked (PSP Go), it was an informative and interesting presentation. It’s safe to say that alternative controllers are the new fad among the big three.
Sometimes games get delayed to the point of no return – StarCraft: Ghost, anyone? Tears are shed, pre-orders are refunded, and gamer rage is abundant during cancellation. Like it or not, there are millions of future games out there just waiting to be delayed.

That’s right, a new video showing off more of the game than ever before. The full three minute eyegasm is after the jump.
The Electronic Entertainment Expo (or E3, as it’s known to us nerds) ended last week with a whimper after a mostly lackluster showing from all involved. The Big Three – Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft – all held forgettable press conferences with few gasp-worthy announcements for the future, aggravating gamers to no end.Instead of solely recounting what was covered, however, let’s take a look at some of the stuff that we wished had gone down at E3.

Microsoft believes that they have built a superior Xbox in the Xbox Elite, that ameliorates problems concerning overheating and video cards that have plagued the company since the birth of the system. Could we be free of the ‘red light of death,’ free of crying while playing Devil May Cry 4, or drinking beer because you’re totally perturbed that the action came to a screeching halt? Does the “Elite” live up to Microsoft’s promises?
