Fairytale Fights is a straight-forward side 3-D side scroller featuring four cast out characters from the fairytale genre. With gallons of blood and weapons a plenty, one would think that this game would be a lot of fun and never get repetitive.
Unfortunately for this title, the game suffers from a lot of issues that should have been caught early on.
Fairytale Fights is going to drastically change the opinion of fairytale characters for video games like Fables did for comic books. The cute character graphics combined with gallons of blood are always a good combination and provide the right amount of dichotomy of the two worlds.
Playlogic Entertainment has announced the list of 42 Achievements/Trophies for the game that releases on October 27. Obviously the game is rated M and children should not be playing this game. But for those of the proper age, prepare for hack and slash action.
Playlogic announced that their upcoming game, Fairytale Fights is launching a pre-order program with Best Buy. Gamers can pre-order online or at the brick and mortar stores to ensure they get a copy of the game on launch day.
The pre-order program runs from September 30 until October 26.
Fairytale Fights releases for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 26 and will hit PC in 2010.
