Zeitgeist Review previously commented his opinions of the Xbox 360 version of Batman: Arkham Asylum.
Here is a review of the PlayStation 3 game.
There have been many games that involved the Batman franchise and universe. Even with Lego Batman, there was always something missing. In Batman: Arkham Asylum, Rocksteady and Eidos took the universe and created a title that took all the elements that have been missing from previous games.

We’ve seen Batman, we’ve seen his rogues gallery, and we’ve seen his gadgets. But what about Arkham Asylum itself? The setting of this newest Batman title brings gamers inside the most dangerous place in the Batman universe. The asylum that holds most of Batman’s formidable foes.
Created by Amadeus Arkham and originally a psychiatric ward to help people recover, the asylum has become a jail for the most dangerous of Gotham. Granted, it’s a jail that can’t keep most of its residents inside for much time, but at least there’s somewhere they can go, for at least a little while.

Mini Ninjas looks like it’s bringing the ninjas back from the blood and guts of previous ninja titles and reintroducing it as what’s cool about ninjas rather than how many people can gamers stealth kill.
Players will be able to control six different ninjas in the game, all with different focus abilities which will allow for a lot of variety in gameplay.

There is only two more weeks until the release of Batman: Arkham Asylum for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The demo has also been released on PSN, Xbox Live Marketplace, and over the internet for the PC. From playing through the demo, there is a lot of potential for the title to be one of the big sellers for the year.
Though in the demo, the only gadget that players can use as Batman is his batarang, but he does have many other tools to perform his detective work and defeat criminals.

Since the demo’s release last Thursday on PlayStation Network, I must have gone through the demo twenty-plus times. Granted the demo is a little short, but it does give a good impression of what the game will be like when it releases on August 25.
This is the Batman that I have been waiting for, rather than the overly flashy Batman from past consoles, and even the Lego Batman game. I thought it was cute, but it wasn’t the Batman that should be represented in video game form.

Rocksteady and Eidos have been very good about releasing more trailers for the upcoming, Batman: Arkham Asylum, game releasing on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. This time it’s all about playing as Batman and how his gameplay mechanics work inside the title.
The only problem that could possibly be present is that the combat could get a little repetitive against the various inmates of Arkham Asylum, but hopefully there is enough variety to keep the game flowing. One other wish is that the whole game remains open as gamers progress through the levels, and not have the straight loading of levels for each boss.

Last week, Gamedaily reported that Square Enix had submitted a $119 million bid to acquire Eidos. Eidos’ Board of Directors has advised company stockholders to take the deal, with Eidos chairman Tim Ryan admitting that Square Enix had put together a strong offer. A formal decision won’t be made until March 2009, but early indications are positive for Square Enix, with MCV reporting that more of Eidos’ stockholders endorse the deal.

Game Design, Headlines
Publishers Eidos and Warner Brothers Interactive have announced that they have secured the talents of actors Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy, who will voice characters in the upcoming game, Batman: Arkham Asylum, a third person detective game to be released on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Arkham Asylum is being developed by Rocksteady Studios and is set to release next summer. The game will be based on the DC comic book world, differing from most Batman games, as more recently they have resembled characters based on recent adaptations created from other media.
