Fighting Fantasy: The Warlock of Firetop Mountain looks amazing on the Nintendo DS. With graphics previously not thought to be capable on the console, Aspyr Media is pushing the power of this handheld to new heights.
As Fighting Fantasy: The Warlock of Firetop Mountain releases in October, gamers who preorder the game will be able to obtain a re-released book copy of the same name. This pre-order bonus is only available through GameStop.
Dreamkiller has a lot going for it. In terms of content, having protagonist Alice Drake being able to enter the minds of her patients only opens the door to the most disturbing possible imagery and imagination of the developers. Going through a person’s own hell by just hearing it is weird enough, but entering the minds of patients to destroy their tormentors with huge weapons is just strange and makes me want to play it.
Check out this behind the scenes video for the game and get a look at the minds behind the game.
The horror genre for video games has always been divided between the mental horror of the Asian market and the in-your-face blood of the Western. Dreamkiller looks to combine the two into something a little more disturbing.
Dreamkiller will release later this year on PC and Xbox 360.
And when you think about it, when does a female carry a huge-ass gun to kill things with?
