This add on is great so I won’t have to switch between wow and my browser. I really get to play now!

  2. Jordan Bowman says:

A great update for a great app. Snoogans.

  3. Chris P says:

I installed this and brought up Windows Task Manager to see how much cpu usage there would be compared to the original Rogue. Have to say, this one is unnoticeable.

    • Tech says:

How Rogue works, vs CPU usage. First off CPU usage is not a bad thing.

      1. Your game users a certain amount of CPU, but is constantly fluctuating during gameplay.
      2. Rogue is designed to utilize the remaining CPU, if needed. The CPU is not actually being utilized at 100%. Rogue claims it if needed.
      3. Rogue never takes CPU from the Game itself. If the game is using 62%, then rogue has dibs on the remaining 38% for it’s operations.
      4. CPU usage indicators do not give you a realtime view of Rogue’s memory usage.

The three video optimization options at the bottom of Rogue effect how the system utilizes your CPU. If Rogue has 38% of the CPU to use on the Video setting, it will use what is needed to keep the frame rate at the desired level. For some this will be 5% of the 38% of the total it has allocated. For others with lower end machines it will be higher.

the CPU graph is an indicator only and does not accurately show how Rogue processes information.

I wasn’t complaining in any way, just my personal experience using the first version of Rogue compared to this new one. I think it’s a great improvement.

  4. Adam Templeton says:

    Just installed it.
    So far, so good.
I’ll check back in after I’ve logged some more WoW time.
