No More Heroes 2 Announced
Wii, Suda 51, and No More Heroes fans, rejoice! During this year’s Tokyo Game Show, a sequel to the saber-slashing, blood-gushing, assassin-slaying hit was revealed. Travis Touchdown announced in the debut trailer that, à la Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator, he will be back! And he’s bringing crazy assassins with him as well.
Not much is known about No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle besides its name, and that it will be a Wii exclusive. However, if it’s anything like the first game, it will definitely draw in more fans and give Wii owners something to look forward to. Sadly, for 360 and PS3 owners, unless you buy a Wii, you will never get a No More Heroes game. Goichi Suda confirms the game to work exclusively with Nintendo’s motion controlled system. Not to mention the fact that a port, or anything along those lines, is out of the question as Suda also stated that there was no time for something like that.
Until more information is announced all we have to go on is the Tokyo Game Show trailer, but considering how striking it is to watch, it’s not all that bad. However, Suda did mention that this new installment to the series will show off the Wii’s graphics capabilities. Will this help those who still say that “graphics makes the game” look at the Wii in a different light? If any game could do it, it’s No More Heroes!
