Have you, for one reason or another, not bought a new-gen console yet? Well, it’s perhaps understandable—there are plenty of PC-only gamers, and for good reason—the most graphics-intense, most gigantic (MMORPGs!) games can be found on PC. There are also some of us who are just poor. But you want a reason to hold that controller lovingly. And good games are certainly not just about top-notch graphics and processing. According to a story on Ars Technica, it is rumored that Microsoft will bring down the price of its Xbox 360 Arcade system from $279 to $199, starting Sept. 7th. A similar story on VG Chartz supplied photographic evidence of the drop.

By now, you’ve probably heard that the Ghostbusters game has been delayed, or is in development limbo. Honestly, I don’t get excited about too many games, but I’ve been looking forward to this one since I was five years old. So this news really crossed my streams. Who is responsible? Not Walter Peck, but Activision Blizzard. That’s right, the WoW gods tried to kill Ghostbusters!
