It’s been quite awhile since Sony announced and released the PSP Go, this I am sure we can all agree. But how many buyers have been satsified?
Does the lack of UMD only entice previous none PSP users? Is 32 GB enough for a download only system?
There are so many questions above and so many left to answer about Sony’s PSP Go to address. To be honest, a main question that I would raise is that if Sony unveiled that Go a bit too early for consumers tastes.

Holy space time continuum Batman! Someone decided to destroy all rules and put a video game in the most dastardly place of all time. Where in Tom’s name is that you ask?
The most obvious place of ever, in video games themselves. As if you needed another game to bide your time with while already playing a game. Well, to each there own, I suppose.
Honestly, there are more games inside of video games than most of us realize. Rockstar, for instance, is notorious for placing bland satirical cabinet games inside of their controversial endeavors.

Tom Cruise was my first thought when Microsoft announced Project Natal.
Motion sensing technology? For your whole body? Of course I wanted one of the computers Tom used in Minority Report, which he manipulated with his hands, a kind of futuristic touch screen on steroids.

Uh-Oh! Corporate bigwig Bobby Kotick has been befuddled over the successes of Sony’s PlayStation 3. Or lack there of, according to the Activision CEO.
I’m sure most of us have read the headlines concerning an interview with Mr. Kotick and The Times concerning the thoughts surrounding the CEO involving his blunt warnings that he may have to pull support to the PlayStation 3, citing poor returns on the console and lack of growth in market share.
But would he really? Would he?

Wednesday at the Electronic Entertainment Expo was filled with appointments with various developers and publishers. I was able to see some titles behind closed doors, though a lot of them were demo only, meaning I wasn’t able to get a hands on feel for some of the titles.
It is looking like the rest of the year and early next year’s titles are looking solid, though finding out the amount of time between a lot of these titles (meaning now until release) is going to be a difficult one.

At 11 AM, I ventured to the Shrine Auditorium to attend Sony’s E3 Press Conference.
While a lot of the games shown were already known, or secrets leaked (PSP Go), it was an informative and interesting presentation. It’s safe to say that alternative controllers are the new fad among the big three.

Sellouts! Traitors! Blasphemers! These are words you’ve probably used to define developers that have turned your favorite franchises upside down for a few extra bucks. Complain all you want though, they’re not going to listen anytime soon.
The fact is these game developers, the major ones at least, are a business first and a company second, that is, their product is secondary to their profits. To them, loyalty is a one way street, and like mercenaries, they go only where the money goes.

Gaming has been around for over 30 years. So, why is it that it has only recently become popular in mainstream culture?
Household gaming began in the 1970s with the release of the Atari 2600. It sold quite well, but despite this, gamers were a relatively new and misunderstood subculture that was often ridiculed as “nerdy.”
