Flash Gaming Frenzy: The Do’s of Web Gaming
The wide world web is an incredible vast area and is brimming with almost a bajillion ways to eat your precious time at any given click. Needless to say there happens to be almost an equal number of flash games that are readily available as long as you have a magical window to the web (or in English — a web browser).
Flash games have been continually receiving more credibility and, in fact, the first flash game gone console hit was Alien Hominid back in 2002. This has helped pave the way for other originally free webgames to make the jump to consoles whether is be full release or Xbox Live Arcade/PlayStation Network.

Needless to say there are plenty of good shit to play on the net. Plenty of shit, but plenty of GOOD shit. Let me make some recommendations to best harness your time while at work.
Mario: There are a lot of way to get a Mario fix on the interwebs. By far the most simple, but rewarding is Burstfilms’ Super Mario Rampage. Why bother with a straight port when you can give Mario a shotgun and let him go to work. Too bad there’s no jump key, though.
However, if you are look for something a little more Mario in nature, there is always Super Mario 63 for some really interesting 2D Mario that meshes many characteristics from a pool of Mario games. A very fun game with great music from Mario that brings glee to any ears.
Scary Girl: This is an amazing looking flash game from illustrator Nathan Jurevicius who’s thave been featured at Kid Robot. Scary Girl is a tight little 2D side scroller that adds some riddles for players to discover the meaning with its a handful a psychedelic support characters to help you on your travels.
Scary Girl will eat a good mount of time while playing but there is a save feature. A must play with a potential continuation on the way for consoles or handhelds. Plus the first entry had vinyl toys and a comic so hopefully more of that amazingness, too.

Puzzle Farter: Simple enough, Puzzle Farter has roughly a hundred puzzles in which you must fart around in. Playing as a fish (I think) you must use your powers of farting to hover and fly around nasties to the exits.
The sound effects alone will have induce laughter of the good ole’ elementary school style. Fartastic!
Little Wheel: Sure this one is short but that lends itself well for a good break time getaway. Little Wheel has a very quirky art style and a bit of robotic humor; this game is super interesting to poke around in its futuristic world to solve the puzzle to complete the ultimate goal of restoring power to the robots.

The game itself will take all of about 15 minutes to complete but hopefully there is more to come. At the very least, I would play plenty more of it.

Surely, this is a small list of many games out there but I feel all these are some of the most solid of the monstrosity that involves flash gaming. Of course there are sweet ones not mentioned such as Pac-Man, Tetris, and Doom that are flash versions of already super fun games, but all the ones mentioned above are not native to the browser, so I decided to leave them off.
Please point out any you think are deserving of everyone’s attention based on have fun it is are really interesting art styles. Happy gaming!
