The gift-receiving holiday of your choice has passed by this weekend. Being the gamer, some clueless soul has bestowed upon you most un-fun, WTF-were-they-thinking-when-they-made-it game to you as a sorry excuse for a present (or some other mediocrity of similar sentiment).
It is clearly not the game you wanted this season, but how could they have known? This does not enthuse you, but you grin and accept it. Now that this “thoughtful” person is gone, what do you do with this near AOL-disc coaster? (watch out, 90’s reference!) And how do you get started on the game you actually want? (more…)

The PlayStation Portable has seen a small jump with the release of the PSPGo, but most didn’t make the jump to digital distribution-only gaming. Many publishers have seen this and are releasing Limited Edition sets for their releases.
XSEED Games have announced tht they are releasing a special pre-order Limited Edition of Lunar: Silver Star Harmony which includes the soundtrack on CD and 13 exclusive “bromide” collector cards containing the girls of Lunar: Silver Star Harmony.

If there’s one thing that can be said for Riot Games and League of Legends is that the team has not stopped working on it since its Pre-Season release. Now the title features a new Death Recap mode which imforms players on the major sources of damage that cause their champion to meet death on the battlefield.
While I was playing, deaths arrived pretty swiftly and having this recap mode would have been helpful, knowing how I needed to change my patterns of attack to last longer against some of the other champions.
