Battleforge: First DirectX 11 Game
PC gaming has always been directly attached to the processor, graphics card, and RAM of a computer on how well it could run. Along with those components, whether a game used DirectX or OpenGL was also a big consideration.
Now Electronic Arts’ Battleforge Play4Free title is the first game to utilize DirectX 11 and also ATI’s new processor chipset. DirectX is a staple of Microsoft since much of Windows uses DirectX and DirectX 11 is the next step in high definition gaming.
Battleforge is a RTS title that is a combination of strategy and fantasy online title. With single player and 2-12 player multiplayer, along with a marketplace, EA is taking the free-to-play market seriously.
