Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360

Good Evening, Mr. Bond. Will it be the Wii or the 360?

It’s been circulating the rumor mill for over 2 years now: Goldeneye 64 will be coming to XBox Live Arcade. And why shouldn’t it? Considering Rare (the developers of the original Nintendo 64 title) has been a first-party developer for Microsoft since September ‘02, it seemed an obvious inevitability. While this has yet to be seen though, it does spark the question, “What about the Virtual Console? Goldeneye 64 is a Nintendo game!“

Halo: The Movie…Again?

Moving ForwardOnce left for dead in the cold, murky depths of development hell, the Halo movie was seemingly destined to become a forgotten project lost in the bowels of Hollywood. Fanboys wept knowing that it would slowly sink into obscurity, left to the wolves that would one day potentially do nothing more than produce a film of epic suck-age. Yet one Hollywood-Halo fan bravely reached down into the mire with hope to breathe new life into this allegedly dead and abandoned project.

YARRRR! It’s a Pirate Gamers’ Life for Me!

You’ve seen the ads on Craigslist: ‘console modding service.’ A modern-day techno treasure chest for any gamer, with promises of hundreds, perhaps thousands, of pirated games from various gaming consoles stored right onto the system for an unfathomably low price. It just may be the “X” that marks the spot on the Internet treasure map. But beware, for there’s blood on those games.

More Portal, Please

Portal, while a fantastic game, is guilty of committing one of video games’ greater taboos: it left players wanting more. Not due to how mind-blowing the experience was, but because it was too short. Sure, you could play through it again and again. But after the 80th time, redundancy sets in.

Nintendo Wii

Comcast Offers Free Wii…for Your Soul!

Shopping for a Nintendo Wii has become one of the great scavenger hunts of our time. Over the course of the hunt, one may find it a rather taxing search due to the seemingly never-ending shortage of consoles. Options?

You could try bribing a store employee at your local GameStop into “holding” one for you after the next shipment. Maybe you could strike a deal with one the many ass-hats on Craigslist who scour retail store shelves, seizing every Wii in sight with malicious intent to sell them for a small profit. Or, perhaps you’d be willing to shake hands with the Devil…

First-Person Shooters: Preparing You for an Alien Invasion!

Independence DayGamers have long attempted to validate the numerous wasted hours glued to their screens. Several arguments, such as improved hand/eye coordination, memory, and problem-solving skills, have held their ground. However, an emerging argument, which seemingly trumps all others, has found such a solid foothold that retort seems impossible: “Video games could save my life.”

David Hayter Needs Your Help! Will You Answer the Codec?

HayterSnake, Otacon here. I’m sending this transmission to you via a secure line.

Snake, there appears to be another potential threat. No, not another Metal Gear prototype. In fact, that may be just the problem. It seems that a faction known as H.I.S.S. (Hollywood is Sincerely Stupid) has decided to interfere with the production of a Metal Gear movie. Under the guise of two smaller dummy corporations known as Sony Pictures and Konami, it appears that their intent is to take complete control of it, without the help of David Hayter.

Wait, you are familiar with David Hayter, right, Snake?
