New Screens from Prison Break: The Conspiracy


Tom Paxton makes his escape in the new Prison Break game based on the Fox TV show.

Southpeak Interactive sent us new screenshots of the game, which features the runaway convict being sneaky and working his strong grip, as well as some familiar faces for fans of the show.

Prison Break: The Conspiracy is out on March 30th for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Tecmo Bowl Throwback kicks off on XBLA, PSN this Spring


Retro gaming goes into overtime with the announcement of Tecmo Bowl Throwback, a remake of the classis SNES football game Tecmo Super Bowl. Coming to Playstation Network and Xbox LIVE this spring, the remake will feature refreshed “2D+3D” graphics, 32 teams and customizable rosters, classic game modes and of course online multiplayer and leaderboards.

The option to revert to old-school 2D graphics will also be there should you want to bask in that retro nostalgia. Expect good things as Southend Interactive has experience with recent remakes of classics games likeĀ Lode Runner and R-Type.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Demo hits 3.5 Mil


EA must be pretty happy with the download numbers of its DICE studio’s latest, since the game hasn’t even shipped yet. The free demo for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is available on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network until February 25.

Giving players a look at the Port Valdez Map and Rush Multiplayer mode, players have already raked up 500 million kills and 10 million head shots in the demo. The demo servers will shut down after the 25th in anticipation of the game’s official release on March 2nd, so you better download soon if you want a piece of the action.

Also be sure to check out the Battlefield Ultimate Prestige tactical manual site detailing vehicles, weapons, maps and strategies to let you hit the ground running come launch day. The game’s official site is here.

Mass Effect 2 Review


When Mass Effect was released in 2007, the game received accolades of “must-play” and “best RPG” titles left and right. Bioware had crafted an immersive, well-written sci-fi RPG that showed us a future full of believable characters and detailed, expansive lore.

League of Legends: Now A Million Downloads Strong


Riot Games is on a roll as they announced that downloads of their PC game League of Legends in North America and Europe have surpassed the million mark. Within just 3 months since it launched in late October of last year, players have logged 18 million hours in-game, and over 150,000 from the two reagions play each day.

With a slew of “Best of the Year” awards and nominated for a Best Debut award at the upcoming Game Developers Choice Award (part of the Game Developers Conference) in March, free-to-play League of Legends seems to have a bright future ahead of itself.
