In America, we pay for virtually everything on a per-month basis. We pay our cable, rent, electricity, and water bills monthly. Some people even pay for online gaming per month as well (often on top of all those other bills). So why is it, when we have so many games that do not require a monthly subscription fee, people are willing to pay on a per-month basis just to play these monthly games?

Swords, dark sorcery, nightmarish monsters, and a regularly opened can of medieval style whoop-ass. These are the types of things one will find in the world of The Witcher. Earlier this year, CD Projekt Red announced that they will be releasing an enhanced version (basically, one giant patch) of The Witcher, which will feature a number of changes, including revamped character voices and two new adventures.

Lionhead Studios has announced that they will release the sequel to the legendary “choose your own destiny” game, Fable, for Xbox 360 in October of this year. The sequel, dubbed Fable 2, will introduce new and exciting changes such as new weapons and armor, as well as an epic storyline. However, do these changes mean that this game will be far better than the first, or will Fable 2 just be a recreation of the original Fable with shiny new equipment?
