About GotGame

Intel LANfest

We want to tell you what GotGame is all about.

The only problem is, we can’t. It’s too early to tell you what our true purpose is. In Internet startup language, we’re in “stealth mode.” That means we can tell you a lot of things, but not the specifics of everything that GotGame will be. Not yet anyway.

What we can tell you is what we believe, what sort of work we have done in the past four months, and how we think this is going to make a huge impact on your gaming life.

GotGame is a high power content delivery network, which is, first and foremost, focused on the PC gaming community. It is composed of a variety of content portals, and GotGame Live, an application that revolutionizes how players interact with each other and their games.

GotGame’s tagline is “Your Games. Your Way.” This may sound a little trite, but it’s an extremely powerful development philosophy that has shaped our Company. We believe that all gamers want to maximize their entertainment, share it with their friends, and brag about their successes to the world.

Intel LANfest

We know this, because we want all of these things, too. And we are building something huge to make it happen. Look at our site: you can see the development areas that we are focusing on to address this value proposition.

“GotGame News” is a collection of editorials, put together by a staff of over thirty writers spread across the US. Our writers are all out there, living their lives, reporting what they think is interesting in the world of gaming. Not “news,” not “reviews,” but industry analysis from experienced gamers; hopefully, some that will make you laugh, think or respond with your own comments.

“GotGame Radio” has over 1.6 million people listening on their radios nationwide every week, and if you miss it on the air, we have it archived for you. Having a way to get the message to the gamers is very important.

Video is also a major part of our long-term strategy. As a start, we are offering a wide variety of proprietary content, such as GotGame TV, The S.W.A.G. Show and Irate Gamer, with many more gaming-related series on the way.

“GotGame University” is an online, ten week internship focused on marketing, writing, graphic design, and computer science. Suffice to say, if you are in college and want credit for doing the things that you love, then you should check it out. We had over seven hundred applicants to our “Summer Session,” of which we accepted just over fifty extremely talented interns. By building our staff of product evangelists from the gamer community, we are truly living our mission statement.

That leaves us with the “GotGame Live” application. How will this revolutionize the gaming world? We’ll give you some hints…

“Xfire” meets “Xbox Live” meets “YouTube for Gamers.” Take the best elements of each, mix in some extraordinary technical innovations, and you’re starting to get an idea of what GotGame Live is all about. And why it’s going to rock your world.

Stay tuned for more info, and keep sending us your feedback, so we can make GotGame what YOU want.

Sincerely,

The GotGame Team
