When Gamers Attack: Caught on Tape
We have all had an embarrassing moment while gaming that we hope is never shown to the outside world. From killed keyboards to mangled monitors, we have all destroyed some piece of our own hardware (and our mental health) while screaming an expletive at our console or PC. Remember those silly moments when you were annihilated by a rogue? Or perhaps fragged cheaply and repeatedly by the same guy with the same weapon over and over again? Well, some gamers had the balls to get themselves on tape and put it up on the internet—and we’ve got the top five moments.
Fist-Smashing a Monitor
What the hell did the monitor do to this guy? You can see the monitor flashing repeatedly as if it were begging that guy to stop. His friends can only sit there in amazement as he conducts himself like E. Honda doing the Hundred Hand Slap. Good thing his friend caught the monitor at the end, or it might have ended up broken…or at least, more broken than it was.
Wait…What Did He Say?
Did you catch all of that? Apparently gamers in the United States are not the only ones verbally assaulting their hardware. I was really hoping something would come take away that cup of coffee before he the inevitable flip-out. He eventually brought that computer to justice in a way we all are guilty of at one point in our gaming career. Looks like his punishment worked better than he expected. I’m not entirely sure, but I swear he said, “Oh, crap!” at the end. Some things just have a way of transcending the language barrier…
Unique Ways to Improve Load Times…
The way this guy was acting you would think he was dying in a fire. The subtitles really give us true insight into what he was thinking (as well as those CS players he’s ‘mocking’). Tossing a plush toy at his monitor fails to improve the load time, and neither does his obsessive screaming at the monitor, while his computer laughs in his popped-vein-filled face.
F*** F*** F***…Mmmmm
I think we all understand the word that graces this video. But what we really want to know is what action he is performing on his guitar when he’s not dropping F-bombs. Well, we probably don’t, actually. While I do have a good idea what he is doing, I don’t think its going to produce any result out of that guitar. Or produce his 88% completion. Sorry Chris. You fail.
Computer Body Slam
This guy picks up his computer, drops it back down on the table on its side, and begins to take it out on his buddy sitting to his left. Good move! That’s really productive. The funny thing is how his friends have little or no reaction to his outburst at all. It’s almost as if this were a daily occurrence. We can only hope that the final tossing of his headset proved stress-relieving enough for him.
There you have it, the top five flip outs caught on tape, and it’s quite an eclectic mix. Getting frustrated with video games is something of a universal language, and whether you speak French, Vietnamese, or…just curse words, it’s something that any true gamer can relate to.
